School visits by Starjumpz therapists can be arranged to ensure that teachers, special educational needs coordinators (SENCos), and other staff fully understand the occupational therapy needs of children in mainstream with learning and/or behavioural difficulties. Therapists also offer input to special schools. They will assess the school environment and discuss how best to support the child within that environment, suggesting any changes that will enhance the child’s learning. Inset training and introductory talks to schools can also be provided.

Starjumpz OTs can also conduct therapy sessions in schools as appropriate and currently work regularly within a number of schools in Kent, East Sussex and Surrey in mainstream, special educational needs and private settings. Schools receiving regular therapy input include: Quest School for Children with Autistic spectrum Disorder in Kent, Step by Step School for Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorder in East Sussex, Hailsham Community College, Claremont School, Rose Hill School and Holmewood House School in Kent.
